The Santa Fe Film Festival has made our film one of their official selection for this year. We couldn't be more proud. We hope you'll join us May 4th at 10:45AM at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, 418 Montezuma Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
The second festival will be announced in April. This is our first film festival experience.
We hope to meet you in Santa Fe, New Mexico!

Congrats on both festivals! I would love to hear more about New Mexico’s role in the internment!

There were at least three detention facilities in New Mexico; Ft Stanton, Santa Fe, and Lourdsburg.

This is so very exciting. The Santa Fe Film Festival is well respected and always has a diverse group of films. The Jean Cocteau Cinema is a great venue and regularly presents cutting edge documentaries as well as art house films. Santa Fe was the site of an internment camp and has a rich history from that time period with the Manhattan project headquarters just 28 miles up the road.

I am so proud of you two film makers, Kristina & Joe. And so happy to be a part of your project as are many other former internees. Your work and dedication to bring this documentary about internment into the realm of public awareness has been very labor intensive for you. Two years of very hard work – but also a “labor of love” – and it shows! On behalf of ALL former internees, I say “DANKE SCHOEN.”
